Renovating your heart through praying in the Spirit

“But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost” (Jude 1:20 KJV)

The Word ‘building’ means to renovate, restore, refurbish or redecorate.

The Bible makes mention of our physical bodies as being the temple of God, specifically in 1 Corinthians 3:16. This analogy underscores the sanctity of our bodily forms, drawing a comparison to a house or a building. Just as buildings require refurbishment and upkeep over time, our bodies also require nurturing and vigilance.

Engaging in prayer serves as a form of restoration for your temple, which may have been desecrated or tainted by sin. By maintaining a regular practice of praying in the Spirit, you enable the Holy Spirit to rejuvenate your complete essence, encompassing body, mind, and soul.

Human is a tripartite being meaning we are made up of three parts: spirit, body, and soul.

The connection with God is established through the spirit, while the body and soul are distinct entities. Although our spirits are generally impervious to malevolent forces, evil spirits can exert influence over the body and soul.

Engaging in prayer through speaking in tongues, serves to rejuvenate the spirit, soul, and body, fostering the replacement of fear with faith, anxiety with serenity, and instilling courage and boldness. This practice also opens the spirit to receive divine guidance from the Holy Spirit.

God says, “Building (renovating) up your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost” (Jude 1:20).

Apostle Paul expressed gratitude for the gift of speaking in tongues because it enabled him to further advance the kingdom of God. He demonstrated great strength against evil forces during his time on Earth. According to the Bible, when one prays in the Spirit, they are communicating with God in a manner that is not comprehensible to others.

The term “mysteries” refers to concepts that are challenging or impossible to understand or explain. Therefore, praying in the Spirit can disrupt the influence of darkness that may surround an individual, leading to confusion and disorder among dark forces and ultimately resulting in breakthroughs and triumphant victorys.

Hallelujah to the lamb of God! Pray without ceasing. Pray in your  Heavenly language. Pray in the Holy Ghost.
