Statement of Faith

God

We believe in one living and true God who is a Spirit, both infinite and pure, eternally exists in three distinctive persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These persons are one God, the same in substance, equal in power and in Glory.
(Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Colossians 2:9).

The Bible

We believe the Bible; both the Old and New Testaments are Holy Scriptures. The only infallible and absolute written Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, given to believers as a constitutional book of God’s Kingdom in which we are to be governed
(2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and Glory (Luke 1:34-35, 2 Corinthians 5:21, John 1:29, Luke 24:2-3, Acts 1:9-11).

Salvation

We believe Salvation is wholly a work of God’s free Grace and is not ‘works’, in whole or in part, of human works or goodness or religious ceremony (Romans 3:23-26, Galatians 2:16). We believe God being merciful and graceful redeems all who repent of their sins and trust Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, justifying them through faith, restoring their relationship with Him, giving them new life by the Holy Spirit (John 6:63, 2 Corinthians 5:17-20).

Eternal Life

We believe a day has been appointed by God, a day Jesus Christ will appear again as a Judge to raise the righteous unto eternal blessing and the unrighteous unto eternal separation from God. He will consummate His kingdom of peace, and His redeemed will enjoy everlasting life, reigning with Christ in the new heavens and the new earth (John 14:3, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

Holy Spirit

We believe that for the salvation of the lost, regeneration of the Holy Spirit is necessary to enable the believer to live a victorious life in Christ Jesus while on earth (John 3:5-8, Titus, 3:4-7). We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly and righteous life and to have a continuous fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 3:16, Romans 8:9).

Unity in the body of Christ and Christ as the Head of Church

We believe Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, His Body, which is composed of all people who have accepted Him as their Lord and personal Savior and have been joined to Him through saving faith (Ephesians 1:22-23, Col 1:18). We believe God admonishes His people to assemble together in unity and regularly for worship, for participation in ordinances, for edification through the Scriptures and for mutual encouragement (Hebrews 10:25, 1 Peter 2:5, 1 Corinthians 1:10).

The Great Commission

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to proclaim the Gospel throughout the world and to disciple people from every nation fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20).
