Let's Pray

Let’s Pray is a spiritual platform designed to elevate the Lord Jesus Christ and to pray on behalf of His people. God said in Ezekiel 22:30, “I looked for a man to stand in the gap (intercessory prayer) so that I will not destroy the city, I found none”.Intercessory prayer is standing in the “gap” or praying on behalf of others. Jesus interceded for all believers in John 17:20-26.Abraham interceded for king Abimelech to be healed (Genesis 20:17). Moses interceded for the Children of Israel for God not to destroy them (Exodus 32:11). Moses also interceded for his sister Miriam to be healed of leprosy (Numbers 12:13). Daniel interceded on behalf of Israel and he got God’s attention (Daniel 9:1-19).

One of the highest forms of prayer is not praying for yourself but praying on behalf of others. On the cross, Jesus prayed not for Himself but for those that had nailed him on the cross (Luke 23:34).If ever there is a time to stand in the gap for the body of Christ across the globe, that time is now. The world that we are living in is not getting any better.

There are Lack of economic opportunity and employment. Many have concerns about their safety, security and wellbeing of their family members.There are concerns of Poverty spreading across the globe. There are Religious conflicts amongst many churches. A huge part of the body of Christ is in constant disunity and at war with each other.There is inequality, discrimination and racism in our communities. Jesus said, “in this world, you will have tribulation” (John 16:33) and that’s why the Bible says all men are to pray and faint not (Luke 18:1).
