Trusting God during times of uncertainty

There is nothing as painful as searching for help from God through prayer and feeling like He is not answering you.

Let’s read a couple of scriptures that will birth hope in your heart:

Isaiah 54:7-8, KJV
“For a small moment have I forsaken you, but with great mercies, I will gather you. In a little while, I have hid my face from you, but with everlasting kindness, I will have mercy on you, saith the Lord your Redeemer”.

Lamentations 3:24-25, KJV
“The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; Therefore I will hope in Him. The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him, unto the soul that seeks Him”.

The scriptures above prove that God does not desert His people forever. Every so often, it might feel like God is delaying you.

In that regard, don’t rush to birth an Ishmael like Sarah did in Genesis 16:2, when she coerced her husband Abraham to impregnate her maid as a surrogate because she felt like God was delaying her from conceiving a child.

When the future seems hopeless, rest assured that God is up to something good that will benefit you and advance His kingdom as well.

They put a crown of thorn on His head and pushed it down His scull as blood flowed down his face. All hope seemed lost, but God had a plan, there was a resurrection.

Perhaps you’ve passed through many trials and adversities. Remember, there is no victory without a fight and there is no crown without a cross.

God is about to put a smile on your face again and reimburse you for everything you’ve lost.
Remember, when you feel hopeless, get even closer to God through prayers, worship and reading the Bible.
