A voice is calling out (Isaiah 40:3, John 1:23). It is urging the nations of the world to return to their creator, God (Genesis 1:27). It is imploring the leaders of this world to seek God for guidance during these challenging times (Hosea 7:16, 2 Timothy 3:1). From the altar, a voice is constantly urging the body of Christ to pray without ceasing, day and night (1 Thessalonians 5:17).
A plea is being made from the altar for unity, solidarity, and togetherness among church denominations (1 Corinthians 12:25). A voice is calling out to God for unity within the body of Christ, as the scriptures say’s “where there is unity, God bestows His blessings (Psalm 133:1-3).
There is a voice crying out from the altar, weeping for the church to return to preaching the infallible and uncompromising Word of truth and living a lifestyle that mirrors Christ in all godliness and holiness because Jesus said, He is coming back for a church without stain or wrinkle (Ephesians 5:27).
A plea is being made from the altar for the church to adhere to the infallible and uncompromising Word of truth, and to embody a lifestyle that reflects Christ through godliness and holiness. There is a cry, a prayer being offered at the altar for believers who have strayed from the teachings of the Word of truth to repent and return to God, who is merciful, graceful and willingness to forgive.(Jeremiah 3:12).
There is a persistent voice of lamentation emanating from the secret place, pleading to God on behalf of the church to ready itself for the imminent return of the Lord, who is likened to a bridegroom. As such, the scripture declares, “And at midnight, there was a cry made, Behold the bridegroom is coming, go out and meet him” (Matthew 25:6).
This voice, a mournful wail, resounds from the earthly realm unto eternity, expressing a deep longing for the return of the Lord, the ultimate creator and architect of all existence (Romans 8:22). Are we adequately prepared to greet His arrival?
There is a voice emanates from the place of private prayer, beseeching God to refrain from unleashing His divine anger upon our cities, akin to Abraham’s entreaties on behalf of Sodom and Gomorrah as recounted in Genesis 18:16-33. These cities were characterized by unrepentant indulgence in various immoral behaviours, particularly sexual sins. Furthermore, there is a voice pleading for healing, paralleling Moses’ supplication for his sister Miriam’s recovery in Numbers 12:13, saying, “Oh Lord, please heal her!”
There is a voice of wisdom crying out (Proverbs 1:20), but most people are unable to hear and heed that voice. Consequently, they are misled and diverted from the path of righteousness due to spiritual ignorance (2 Peter 3:16, Hosea 4:6). A voice is crying out, saying do not trust in man above God, do not take prophetic direction above the Bible, and do not receive any instruction from a preacher above the Holy Spirit. Hence, the Bible says, “cursed is the man who trusted in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord” (Jeremiah 17:5).
There is a voice weeping over our cities, just as Jesus wept over the city of Jerusalem (Luke 19:41), because they have rejected the ways of God and embraced paths that seem right in their own eyes. There is a voice crying out, pleading for this generation not to make the same mistakes and to embrace the Lordship of Christ over our nation.
There is a voice crying out!
He who has ears let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches.
